狩猎权隶属子权和他物权，狩猎权涉及狩猎权人的私益和国家的公益，弄清狩猎权的母权利于双重利益的保障。一般意义上说，狩猎权的母权包括土地所有权或水资源所有权和野生动物资源所有权。考虑到国情特色，应该将狩猎权的母权界定为野生动物资源所有权，既有利于狩猎权的深入研究，也能更好地保护野生动物资源。
