Combined with the practical experience of Huanggang Polytechnic College, the author thinks that if the target man-agement needs to be implemented in higher vocational colleges, we must definite the function of management, clear the management ideas, stick to the goal management, focus on the key links and constantly strengthen ideological foundation and scientific manage-ment knowledge. During the implementation of target management, we should pay attention to the implementation process and opti-mize the evaluation mechanism as well.
