采用丝网印刷法在PDP的传统MgO保护层上制备了六硼化镧薄膜。改变工艺参数,测试了LaB6/MgO薄膜的表面形貌和光学性能,并对透明的LaB6/MgO薄膜在Xe/Ne混合气体中的放电性能进行了测试。实验结果表明,采用400目丝网和球磨后的LaB6粉末有利于提高LaB6/MgO薄膜的透过率,相比于原有的MgO衬底,透过率达到90%以上。放电测试结果表明,印刷了LaB6薄膜的MgO+LaB6样品的放电性能优于传统的MgO保护层,其中着火电压降低了7%左右,放电延迟降低了9%左右。

The LaB6 thin film was deposited on MgO protective layer of PDP by the screen-printing method. The sur-face appearance and the optical performance of LaB6/MgO films fabricated with different process parameters were tested. Besides, the discharge performance of the LaB6/MgO film with high transmittance was tested in Xe/Ne mixed gases. It is shown that the screen of 400 meshes and the ball-milled LaB6 are benefit to improve the visible light transmittance. Using the conventional MgO protective layers as a reference,the visible light transmittance of LaB6/MgO film reaches at a high level of 90%. The consequence of the discharge test has shown that the discharge performance of the MgO substrate printed with the LaB6 thin film is better than the traditional MgO protective layer. The firing voltage and discharge delay time have been descended by 7% and 9%,respectively.
