在改革浪潮中生成的“打工文学”，以“草根”写作的姿态跻身于当今多元文化生产场域，不仅缝合了中国改革开放这一转型期的历史记忆，还体现出积极介入生活，构建和谐社会的意向，受到了主流文化市场的接纳、推介和扶持。文学消费创造了打工文学步入文学殿堂的“神话”，也使之面临被主流意识形态宰制被欲望消费同化的危机，但仍有部分作家在坚守与拓展，力图突破底层关怀，抵达存在追问。

“Hired laborer literature” (the literature on the theme of rural migrants ) generated in the wave of reform , standing among the multiple culture field by the attitude of “grass -roots” writing , not only has mended the memory of Chinese reform and opening -up period , but also reflected the ideology function of constructing harmonious social , was and has been accepted , promoted and supported by mainstream culture market . Literary consumption created the “myth” of entering the literary temple and also made it face the crisis of cultural assimilation by dominate mainstream ideology and entertainment but part of them are still holding to develop to break the underlying concern , arriving in human care .
