随着改革开放的不断深入，我国对应用英语专业人才的需求日益增大。为此，我们对广东省8家有代表性的企业和6所同类兄弟院校进行专项走访和调研，从企业用人的角度，有针对性地了解企业对应用英语专业人才的需求，希望通过调研能为应用英语专业人才培养探索出一条适合区域经济发展的思路。

With the deepening of the reform and opening up ,China's demand for applied English pro‐fessionals has been increasing .For this reason ,we conduct a special visit and investigation in eight rep‐resentative companies and 6 similar brother universities in Guangdong .From the perspective of enter‐prise ,the article is aimed to understand the demand of enterprises for professional talents of applied English ,hoping to find a way to cultivate professional talents suitable for the regional economic develop‐ment .
