糖尿病和心血管疾病中的血管内皮功能障碍的特征是血管张力调节改变、活性氧族产生增多、炎症激活和屏障功能改变,内皮细胞通过分泌多种因子调节细胞黏附、平滑肌细胞增殖及血管张力。血管内皮功能损伤是糖尿病血管并发症发生的始动因素和主要病理生理学基础。本文综述了血管内皮功能障碍与2型糖尿病研究进展。

Endothelial dysfunction associated with diabetes and cardiovascular disease is characterized by the changes in vasoregulation, the enhancement of the generation of reactive oxygen intermediates, the inflammatory activation and the alteration in barrier function. Endothelial cells produce a wide range of factors that can also regulate cellular adhesion, smooth muscle cell proliferation, and vascular tone. It is well known that endothelium dysfunction is an early manifestation in the development of diabetic vascular complications. This review focuses on a research progress on endothelial dysfunction and type 2 diabetes mellitus.
