The importance of the chemical composition determination for mold flux was briefly described in this passage,and the methods for determination of the chemical composition were introduced,including chemical method,inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. But also the advantages and disadvantages of three methods of testing were compared.Chemical method meant large labor intensity and low work efficiency,on the other hand,internal control sample could be provided;Inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry had low labour intensity,high efficiency,simple operation and advanced equipment,but the cost higher.
