大学生参与社会管理创新不仅能够改进居民的生活方式、促进群体的社会融合，而且有助于公益社会组织的发展和虚拟社会管理的加强。近年来，大学生参与社会管理创新的工作得到很好的推进，但仍存在着总体认知不足、参与能力需要提高、参与形式不够多和长效机制较为欠缺等问题，需要从激发参与动力、创造参与机会、畅通参与渠道、提升参与能力等四个方面加以完善，并要注重把大学生朴素的家园情怀转化为其参与社会管理创新的内生动力，把发展中的资源优势转化为推动此项工作的现实支持，把实际工作开展中的具体做法提升为科学的工作理念，以促进整体工作水平的提高。

College students participating in social management innovation can not only improve people’s life style, promote social groups’ integration, but also contribute to developing social public welfare organizations and strengthening the management of virtual society. In recent years, there has been a great advance in college students participating in social management innovation. Yet, problems exist, such as lack of general awareness, demand of participation ability improvement, insufficient participation forms, and inadequate long-term effective mechanism. Thus, four improvements should be made in terms of stimulating participation motivation, creating participation opportunities, ensuring smooth channels, and enhancing participation ability. And in order to promote the general level of work, we should focus on converting college students’ simple home feeling into the inner motive participating force in social management innovation, converting the resource advantage in development into the realistic support for the work, and distilling scientific conception out of practice work.
