利用新型三点接触式疲劳试验机对3组共60粒Si3 N4陶瓷球进行完全疲劳寿命试验,并将最大似然估计法处理试验数据得到的结果与拉应力寿命模型预测的结果进行比对,结果表明,两者的误差小于5%,用该模型预测Si3 N4陶瓷球的疲劳寿命可显著减少试验时间,降低成本。

The complete fatigue test for three groups of 60 Si3 N4 ceramic balls are carried out by using a newly devel-oped fatigue test rig with three-point contact.The test data is processed by using maximum likelihood estimate,the re-sult obtained by test data is compared with result predicted by tensile stress life model,with the error less than 5%.The results show that the fatigue life of Si3 N4 ceramic balls predicted by the model can significantly reduce test time,man-power and material resources,which is especially suitable for life prediction of Si3 N4 ceramic balls with long life.
