There are two hydropower stations in Hekoucun hydropower project. The operation range of water head,setting elevation,unit layout of these two stations are different. According to the characteristics of layout and water head,through comprehensive comparisons and analysis of model parameter,the turbine type and main parameter were determined;combining with the factors of performance of economy and technology,operation flexible and etc. ,the number and type of units were selected rationally,which guaranteed the station operation steady and safety.
