In the airtight blast furnace production practice ,the important ways of reducing the coking con‐sumption include four aspects:choosing reasonable slag , stabilizing slag , and preventing slag from fluctua‐ting ;controlling reasonable desulphurization rate;replacing T uJiao by metallurgical coke;reducing heat taken away by flue gas . The article discusses it from these four aspects . It provides certain references for the reduction of the airtight oxygen -enriched melting coking furnace consumption .
