动脉粥样硬化与冠心病、脑卒中及股动脉狭窄等疾病息息相关，是世界范围内的主要死亡原因之一，严重威胁人类健康。血脂异常是动脉粥样硬化最重要的危险因素之一。本文根据降血脂药物作用机制进行分类，对近年来上市或正在进行临床研究的降血脂药物作一综述，以期达到指导临床合理应用降脂药物的作用。

Atherosclerosis ,one of the leading death -causing factors worldwide ,is closely correlated to such clinical conditions as coronary heart disease ,stroke and femoral artery stenosis ,and seriously threatens human health .Dyslipidemia is one of the most signifi_cant risk factors for atherosclerosis .Based on action mechanism classification of cholesterol -lowering drugs ,summarization of cholesterol-lowering drugs on sale or undergoing clinical research has been presented to provide a guide to appropriate clinical administration of cho _lesterol-lowering drugs .
