The structure and principle of the ash filter in Shell gasification were introduced, and the judgment and causes of the ceramic filter fracture in practical application were analyzed. According to the existing problems, the optimum improved methods were gived to solve these problems with the actual operation experience. In addition, the application of metal filter element in our device was introduced, which made a demonstration for the development of dry-ash eliminate.
