法律解释规则是在法律解释过程中运用各种解释方法所应当遵循的位阶顺序。这样的位阶顺序在法律解释中是否具有方法论意义一直是学界讨论的话题。解释规则可以限制自由裁量权，提高裁判理由的可预测性，并遵守解释的位阶顺序。法律解释规则应首先从法律解释的目的入手，并在现有理论基础上另辟蹊径，从法律解释目的之视角对法律解释规则进行再审视，主观之目的会导致忽略法律本身的价值，忽略立法者的历史局限性。客观之目的则在于探求法律意旨，并随社会变迁而改变，但其缺陷在于忽视立法者的意识。实际上，法律解释的目标应是构建一个裁判理由。挖掘现实情境下研究法律解释规则研究的创新意义。
