培根的“四假象”说：“种族的假象”、“洞穴的假象”、“市场的假象”、“剧场的假象”，成为偶像存在必然性和必须重视的重要理论指导。培根的偶像观阐明偶像的存在无法避免，应用全面客观科学的眼光认识偶像，进而需要用培根的观点指导青年群体树立正确的偶像观，培养社会主义核心价值观，媒体、偶像及青年群体三方协力共建正确的偶像观。
