为提高视频传输的鲁棒性,通过对容错熵编码(EREC )方法的研究,提出一种将数据块进行转置操作的容错熵编码(T EREC )方法。将数据进行空频变换编码,如小波变换或者离散余弦变换(DC T ),优先传输所有数据块中的低频系数。由于变换后的低频系数对解码的重要性高于高频系数,在通过不等差错保护信道编码后,可以明显降低丢包造成的解码错误。容错熵编码和转置容错熵编码的对比结果表明,使用后者能使性能得到平均2 dB的提高。

To increase the robustness of video transmission ,a method called transposed error‐resilience entropy coding (TEREC) was proposed based on the study of error‐resilience entropy coding (EREC) .The data blocks were handled with space‐frequency transformation and low frequency coefficients were transferred with the highest priority . As the low frequency coefficients showed greater importance for decoding than the high frequency coefficients ,the decoding error caused by packet lost was de‐creased evidently .The experimental results between EREC and TEREC show that the latter one can improve the performance by 2 dB on average .
