With more and more coal-fired power plants using selective catalytic reduction ( SCR) system for flue gas denitration, disposal of waste catalyst resulting became increasingly prominent. The main reason of application and inactivation of denitration catalyst in SCR system was introduced, and the urgency of the waste catalyst disposal problems was analyzed.The national related policy denitration catalyst disposal of waste was discussed.The waste catalyst was characterized as hazardous waste, the relevant issues needed to pay attention to in the transport and storage, which was mainly described.
