Based on promoting energy-saving and emission-reduction targets,low carbon campus is the important embodiment in promoting green campus construction,implementing the low carbon concept,advocating low carbon life style,and promoting the scientific development of colleges and u-niversities.Through analyzing three aspects of the meaning and principle and basic content of low car-bon campus construction in colleges and universities,the article proposes the basic idea and technology support system of low carbon campus construction,and has reference significance for the low carbon campus construction in colleges and universities.
