李耕是我国近现代中国古典人物画大师，其山水花鸟画亦精。其画作多继承中国画诗、书、画、印融为一体的传统，画作数量巨大，且多有题诗，诗歌类别丰富。从绘画题材看，其人物画题诗包含题高士画诗、题仕女画诗、题佛道人物画诗、题平民画诗；山水画题诗主要表现的是其家乡仙游的名山、溪流；花鸟画多具有吉祥寓意；从诗歌语言形式看，李耕的题画诗包含四言古诗、五言古诗、格律诗等；从诗歌来源看，李耕的题画诗多为自创，有时直接引用前人诗句题于画中而自出新意。

Li Geng,a famous classical figure painter in modern China,especially mastered the mountain-water painting and Bird-and-flower painting.Most of his paintings inherited the tradition of Chinese painting on which poetry,calligraphy,painting and seal mixed together.The number of his paintings is not only considerable,and various poems were also writed on the majority of his paintings. Besides,the categories of poems on his paintings were rich and varied.In terms of the painting themes,the categories of the poems inscribed on his traditional figure paintings included the poems in-scribing gentleman,beautiful women,Buddhism figure and the common people;the poems inscribed on his mountain-water paintings displayed the famous mountains and stream in his hometown,Xianyou county;while the symbols of good lucks were revealed in his Bird-and-flower painting.In terms of the form of poetic language,his poems included a type classical poem with four characters to a line,a type classical poem with five characters to a line,rhyme scheme poem and so on.In terms of the origins of poems,the poems on his paintings were written by himself,sometimes he quoted their verses directly from other previous poets and writed on his paintings.
