Accidents like rope slacking or breakage occur from time to time during hoisting process in the mine shaft , the paper describes a dynamic model for jamming of tramcar of the lifting system in the inclined shaft , studies the dynamic characteristics of steel rope when the tramcar gets stuck and emergency brake rope becomes loose , and discusses and analy-zes prevention of carriage offset .
