The toxic chromium-containing water has great harms on human body.With the development of people’s life and the ever-increasing requirement for environment, the treatment of the toxic chromium-containing water, which is the typical heavy metal waste water, has been given more and more attention, and new processing methods develop quickly. This anticle summarizes such methods and technology as internal electrolysis, activated sludge, sulphonated peat, and agricultural and forestery wastes utilized in the chromium-containing waste water treatment.
