本文从培养21世纪人才的角度出发剖析了大学物理学科建设、教学体系、内容、教学手段方法改革的必要性，提出了改革措施：边教学、边科研，创建一个浓郁的教研和学术活动气氛，是实现教学现代化的重要途径；完善学科体系，进行教材改革，有利于学生思维能力、创新能力等科学素质培养；加强教学软件建设，采取现代化的教学手段是提高教学质量的重要保证。
