当前和今后一段时期，大力发展资源水利、民生水利是水利改革发展的主要任务，传统的工程水利已不再符合时代要求，必须逐步实现向现代水利的转变，这就需要大批面向基层的高素质水利技术技能型人才来支撑，水利职业教育作为所需人才培养的主战场，必须要适应水利快速改革与发展和现代水利职业教育工作的要求。
噹前和今後一段時期，大力髮展資源水利、民生水利是水利改革髮展的主要任務，傳統的工程水利已不再符閤時代要求，必鬚逐步實現嚮現代水利的轉變，這就需要大批麵嚮基層的高素質水利技術技能型人纔來支撐，水利職業教育作為所需人纔培養的主戰場，必鬚要適應水利快速改革與髮展和現代水利職業教育工作的要求。
당전화금후일단시기，대력발전자원수리、민생수리시수리개혁발전적주요임무，전통적공정수리이불재부합시대요구，필수축보실현향현대수리적전변，저취수요대비면향기층적고소질수리기술기능형인재래지탱，수리직업교육작위소수인재배양적주전장，필수요괄응수리쾌속개혁여발전화현대수리직업교육공작적요구。
