With a design example of a bowstring arch bridge of concrete-filled steel tube,they are compared that the differences between Techni-cal Code for Concrete-Filled Tube Arch Bridges,2013 and several standards or specifications in the selection of materials strength,the caculation of ultimate strength and stability bearing capacity,the checking of deflection and stress,detailing requirements,etc. . The features of the new code are also concluded.
