The S306 reconstructed road in Zhentouba Reservoir Area locates at the areas of high mountains and gorges, which faces a series of problems such as complicated geological conditions, strong interference between retaining wall construction and unobstructed traffic and difficult construction planning. After the construction of Zhentouba Reservoir, the left lower side-slope of reconstructed road would be immersed, so the retaining wall is constructed at the immersed section. In this paper, the techno-logical requirements and quality control of retaining wall construction such as shuttering installation, concrete pouring and joint treatment are introduced.
