社会成员共同分享全部财富是东西方社会都努力追求的一个目标，其实现途径之一即是慈善事业。西方的慈善观建立在严格的私有财产基础上，即财富共享的前提是私人所有，这使得西方的慈善事业获得了一个有力支撑点。相比较而言，中国传统社会中私有财产观念的淡漠，使得我国慈善事业的进一步展开受到了一定影响。
社會成員共同分享全部財富是東西方社會都努力追求的一箇目標，其實現途徑之一即是慈善事業。西方的慈善觀建立在嚴格的私有財產基礎上，即財富共享的前提是私人所有，這使得西方的慈善事業穫得瞭一箇有力支撐點。相比較而言，中國傳統社會中私有財產觀唸的淡漠，使得我國慈善事業的進一步展開受到瞭一定影響。

That the entire wealth of society are shared by all the members is the goal that both eastern and weastern society are striving for. And the charitable cause is one of the approaches to achieve the goal. The charitable views of the west are based on strict private property, meaning that the premise of wealth-sharing is private ownership, which is the strong supporting point of weastern charitable cause. Comparatively speaking, the concept of private property is weak in Chinese traditional society, which influences the development of the charitable cause in our counry to some extent.
