高职院校学生多源化的特征决定了高职公共英语分层教学的必要性。分层控制的合理化和科学化的实现有赖于教学主体、教学目标和教学过程的层次化。分层教学的实践证明其在因材施教、提高学生主观能动性、增进师生关系、提升教师业务水平等方面具有一定的优势,对推进高职公共英语的课程改革有着积极的现实意义。

The characteristics of higher vocational college students determine the necessity of public English hierarchical teaching .Rational and scientific hierarchical control in hierarchical teaching is realized by hierarchical teaching subject , teaching objectives and teaching process .Practice on the hierarchical teaching proves to be advantageous in terms of individualized teaching , promotion of student initiation and teacher-student relationship , and enhancement of teachers'professional level , thus has a positive practical significance on the curriculum reform of public English in higher vocational colleges .
