This paper describes the current situation of deep hole mining blasting in Sijiaying underground iron ore.It analyzes the causes of the accident on vertical slot by deep hole blasting.By strengthening geological sketch of the site, optimizing the blasting parameter, strengthening the deep hole construction management, and changing charge mode and other measures,the mining blasting effect is improved.These methods have reduced the occurrence of blasting accidents,and achieve the purposes of improving ore recovery.
