Through the study of geological conditions and early geological works for Zone I,II,and III of Xishimen Iron Ore,the paper summarizes the results and experiences of prospecting in deep extension sections in mines, prospecting of deeper blind ore body in interlamination, and prospecting in sections without detailed survey.The paper also discusses the prospecting potential of Xishimen Iron Ore, concluding that there will be better prospecting potention in deep extension sections of Zone II and III,and sections without detailed survey in west wing of Zone I.
