The process tension of the multi-wire saw, which is one of the important factors affect the motion state of cutting line, has not only great impact on the surface quality and working accuracy of workpiece, but also on the lifetime of cutting line.Hereby the characteristics and influence factors of the process tension is analyzed, and through adopting the magnetic force to control the process tension reasonably, is an effective way to improve the quality of the workpiece and increase lifetime of the steel wire.
