With regard to the slipping phenomenon of top step shims in finishing mill during rolls changing, some mechanical structures of the finishing mill are upgrade and its control pro-gram is modified and so the phenomenon of the breakdown in rolls changing is in effective control. And what's more rolls changing time is shorted form 50 minutes to 20 minutes and the productivity is improved.
