Taking the Jiaxing-Shaoxing River-Crossing Bridge as the background,which is a separated steel box girder bridge, according to the finite element model, we analyzed and compared the stress in cross beams, made the comparison between the unilaterally method and the united method for the cantilever installation. We selected the unilaterally method because of more reasonable stress and the more secure progress.
