The roller compacted concrete dam of Ahai Hydropower Station is built on a complex rock foundation in thin layers.Thus, design of the dam should adapt to the foundation situation .The optimization design of the dam is intro-duced , including the basic section , dam foundation , foundation treatment , aseismatic and anti-seepage measures .The dam worked well since its formal operation , which shows the safety and reliability of the design .
