以西安工业大学图书馆读者数据为抽样，借助于数理统计方法，对流通环节读者到达过程的分布进行了假设检验，结果表明读者的到达过程具有正态分布特征；通过对流通过程的分析，指出用M/M/s/r模型描述借还过程更为准确，而不是已有文献中假设的M/M/r模型；在前述工作的基础上，利用西安工业大学图书馆的借还数据和队长条件，计算出出纳台应配备的服务台数目，从计算结果也得出，在完成相同服务强度的条件下，采用借还服务分列（某服务台只提供借或只提供还）的模式，会造成资源的浪费。

ABSTRACT:Taking the data of the readers in the library of Xi’an Technological University as the example, and by means of mathematical statistic method, this paper carries out the hypothesis test on the distribution of readers’ arrival process in the circulation link, the results of which show that readers’ arrival process has the characteristics of normal distribution;through the analysis of circulation process, points out that the M/M/s/r model is more suitable to be used to describe the circulation process rather than the M/M/r model assumed in existing literatures;on the basis of previous work, and by using the circulation data and queue length of the library of Xi’an Technological University, figures out the number of the service desk that should be equipped in the circulation desk, and concludes from the calculation results that under the condition of completing the same service strength, adopting the borrowing and returning separated model(a certain service desk only for borrowing or returning) will cause the waste of resources.
