The development of water supply system is in fact the development of applied mathematics in water supply system. This paper introduces GM theory and method of its establishment, making an application and analysis of this method in practical project. Aiming at the feature of lacking historical water supply data in J city of northeast area in our country, annual water demands GM was established, calculating results according to the use of MATLAB. It turns out that the forecast result is in high accuracy, and the model is feasible and effective.
