采用文献资料、逻辑分析等研究方法，对太极拳文化特质与演变历程进行研究。结果表明：作为中国武术重要拳种之一的太极拳，自诞生起就具有典型的高雅文化特质。其拳理是吸收了太极文化、儒家文化及道家文化等中国传统文化精华，形成了完善的太极拳理论体系。其拳法是博采了众多武术拳种之长，形成了独特的太极拳技术风格特征。太极拳是中国武术理论体系成熟的体现，也是中国武术文明化进程的使然。在近代大众消费文化的影响下，太极拳技术上体现出由繁至简的演变特点；太极拳文化体现出由高雅到通俗的演变特征；太极拳受众体现了从少数武术精英修习到大众参与的特征。太极拳所具有的高雅文化特质被不断消解，从而影响了太极拳的文化形象。坚守太极拳高雅文化特质的本源，以“高雅文化”与“大众文化”共存的发展思路，促进太极拳的普及与推广。

The present study is one on the cultural traits and evolutionary process of Taijiquan. As one of the most important forms of Chinese shadow boxing,Taijiquan has the typical characteristics of high culture. It has absorbed the cream of Taiji culture,Confucianism and Taoism,among others. By integrating the strong points of other schools of boxing,the fist work of Taijiquan has formed its own styles. Taijiquan is a reflection of a mature theoretical system of Chinese martial arts,and also a product of their evolution. Influenced by popular culture,Taijiquan displays the following characteristics:simplification technically;popularization culturally,and mass participation. With the fading away of its high culture traits comes the damage of its image. We suggest that further development of Traditional Chi-nese martial arts relies on adherence to its high-culture core and the coexistence of its high culture part and pop cul-ture part.
