Using the literature material method, interview method and questionnaire survey method, this article conducted a thorough investigation on the teaching status of basketball option course in some universities of Anhui province to made a comprehensive understanding of the current situation of basketball teaching, which revealed the influence factors of basketball option class teaching and put forward the corresponding countermeasures according to the existing problems.
