PCI‐1780定时器卡是一款多通道计数器／定时器卡。针对光栅尺数据采集中定时功能的需要，提出采用采集卡内部晶振定时。由于硬件计时常常需要外接信号源作为频率触发，依赖于外部硬件，不易实现。提出一种采用定时器卡内部晶振进行频率输出的方法实现定时功能，优点是不需要外接信号源，即不需要外接接线板，实现简捷。定时模块基于Visual C＋＋实现，实验结果满足预期定时功能。经实验验证，定时模块运行良好，达到定时精度要求。

PCI‐1780 card is a multi‐channel counter/timer card .When applying hardware timing function ,external trig‐ger signal source is needed as frequency .This paper presents a timer method using internal oscillator as frequency output to achieve timing function .The advantage is external signal source or external wiring board is not needed for this meth‐od .Visual C+ + is applied for implementation .Results shows the timing function can be realized .The experiments proved this method running w ell and precision reached to target .
