高职学生因为受母语文化、学习环境和学习习惯的影响，在用英语进行跨文化交际时，往往会出现文化上、逻辑上和选词上的语用失误。高职院校的英语教师应当充分意识到这一问题并从文化补充、情境教学、更新思维和转变方法四个方面入手，协助学生避免或减少其在跨文化交际中的语用失误，以增强学生的英语语用能力，为其在将来的工作岗位上完成更好的跨文化交际活动做好前期准备工作。

Vocational college students often make pragmatic failures during inter-cultural communication in English. This is due to the factors of mother-language culture influence, also known as negative transfer. It is recommended that teachers should assist students to avoid pragmatic failures by means of culture complement, situational teaching model application, language-logic transformation and new teaching methods. Improving students’pragmatic compe-tence is helpful for students’ future inter-cultural communications.
