木通沟铁矿均赋存于太古界杨家店组上段含铁角闪岩中,处于板石沟复式向斜西部起翘转折端,板石沟所处的区域构造位置决定该矿床矿体产状变化不稳定性,同时也决定了该矿床与板石沟铁矿南北两条成矿带的连续性。转折端出露南北向薄层矿体是受三期褶皱改造叠加变形作用影响,矿区所含矿体呈北东倾没,南东倾斜的多层斜列宽缓向形盲矿体群,东部被F201逆断层破坏,断层倾向北东东,预测深部矿体主要分布在F201断层的下盘,木通沟向斜横跨板石沟复式向斜两翼,与板石沟向斜两翼具备连续性赋矿因素。
木通溝鐵礦均賦存于太古界楊傢店組上段含鐵角閃巖中,處于闆石溝複式嚮斜西部起翹轉摺耑,闆石溝所處的區域構造位置決定該礦床礦體產狀變化不穩定性,同時也決定瞭該礦床與闆石溝鐵礦南北兩條成礦帶的連續性。轉摺耑齣露南北嚮薄層礦體是受三期褶皺改造疊加變形作用影響,礦區所含礦體呈北東傾沒,南東傾斜的多層斜列寬緩嚮形盲礦體群,東部被F201逆斷層破壞,斷層傾嚮北東東,預測深部礦體主要分佈在F201斷層的下盤,木通溝嚮斜橫跨闆石溝複式嚮斜兩翼,與闆石溝嚮斜兩翼具備連續性賦礦因素。

Motonggou iron deposit occurrences in the amphibolite containing iron of the upper of Yangjiadian Formation, Archaean , in Banshigou compound synclinal west warped turning end. The location of regional tectonic decides the ore body change instability, but also determines the continuity of the NS two metallogenic belts of the deposit and Banshigou iron deposit. The NS thin orebody outcropping in the turning end is affected by the three phase superposition fold deformation , the ore body in the mining area shows NE edge away, and showing SE inclined multilayer inclined width slow blind orebody group, The eastern part was destroyed by F201 thrust, showing fault tendency NEE, predicted that the deep ore bodies are mainly distributed in footwall of fault F201.The Mutonggou syncline across the Banshigou compound synclinal wings, and Banshigou syncline wings have continuity of metallogenic factors.
