《现代汉语常用字表》和《通用规范汉字表》一级字表均收录3500个常用汉字，二表收录了103个不同的汉字，不同时代常用汉字收字的差异反映了语言生活的演变。103个原常用汉字的语素量、语素汉字的语法形类、构词能力、记音汉字构素方式在使用过程中不断变化。笔画繁难、异体替代、语素组合方式单一、适用域狭窄、与时代脱节、俚俗口语难登大雅之堂、理据难寻等因素是汉字字频下降的重要原因。
《현대한어상용자표》화《통용규범한자표》일급자표균수록3500개상용한자，이표수록료103개불동적한자，불동시대상용한자수자적차이반영료어언생활적연변。103개원상용한자적어소량、어소한자적어법형류、구사능력、기음한자구소방식재사용과정중불단변화。필화번난、이체체대、어소조합방식단일、괄용역협착、여시대탈절、이속구어난등대아지당、리거난심등인소시한자자빈하강적중요원인。
The Table of Commonly - used Characters in Modern Chinese and The General List of Regularized Chinese Characters Level 1 both include 3500 commonly-used Chinese characters .There are 103 different characters in this two tables which reflect the evolution of the language life in different periods .This paper takes 103 commonly-used Chinese characters for the research ob-ject to analyzes the reasons of the word frequency decline from the stroke ,number of morphemes ,morpheme grammatical form ,the ability of word formation and the way of transcriptional Chinese characters structure .In the study we find that stroke complex and di-versity ,alternative variants ,single morpheme combination ,narrow applicable domain ,being out of the Times ,slang and colloguial language difficult to appeal and hard to find factors are important reasons for decline in Chinese character frequency .
