Energy‐demanding condition of transportation industry in China has been introduced in this pa‐per ,and then energy‐saving technology of USA ,Europe and Japan and energy‐saving technology of auto‐mobiles abroad been analyzed ,and the trend of new energy automobiles market all over the world been predicted .The energy‐saving targets have been put forward for our commercial vehicles and passenger cars ,and the main technical path been analyzed to improve energy saving of vehicles in China ,and sugges‐tions on the development of automobile energy saving technology been given .
