Fe2 O3-SiO2 red pigments%sol-gel%color performance
以FeCl3、N H3· H2 O和正硅酸四乙酯(T EOS )为原料,采用溶胶凝胶分步反应合成了硅铁红色料。研究了煅烧温度、硅铁比、包裹次数等工艺因素对色料红度值的影响.利用XRD、FTIR和全自动测色差计等分析手段对色料结构和呈色性能进行了表征.XRD图谱中未发现有Fe2 O3或Fe3 O4的衍射峰,表明铁离子被包裹在二氧化硅晶体内,采用本方法所合成的硅铁红色料具有较好的包裹效果.FTIR分析结果也进一步证实了二氧化硅对铁红色料的包裹.同时,色料的红度值随着煅烧温度的升高呈先增大后减小的趋势,900℃煅烧的色料具有最大红度值,a倡=22.89,比传统固相法合成色料的最佳煅烧温度降低了200℃;随着硅铁比的增大,色料的红度值仍出现先增大后减小趋势,硅铁比等于5∶1红度值最大;随着包裹次数的增加,SiO2的包裹层逐渐增厚,色料的红度值逐渐减小,而明度值逐渐增大.

The Fe2 O3‐SiO2 red pigments were synthesized by sol‐gel step reaction using FeCl3 ,NH3 · H2 O and TEOS as raw materials .The influence of calcinations temperature , Si/Fe ratio and inclusion number on red value of the pigments were studied .The structure and color performance of the pigments were characterized by XRD ,FTIR and color measure‐ment .The results show that Fe ions are wrapped in silica matrix .It is because the diffraction peaks of Fe2 O3 or Fe3 O4 in XRD analysis are not detected ,w hich explain that ferrosilicon red pigment prepared by sol‐gel step reaction has highly inclusion effect .The FTIR results also confirm that Fe2 O3 red pigments are wrapped by SiO2 matrix .Meanwhile ,with the raising of the calcinations temperature ,red value of the pigments increased first and then decreased . When calcinations temperature is at 900 ℃ ,the red value of the pigments is highest and a* =22 .89 .Comparing with conventional solid state route ,optimum calcinations temperature for synthesized Fe2 O3‐SiO2 red pigments reduces 200 ℃ .With the increasing of the Si/Fe ,red value of the pigments has the same tendency with calcinations temperature .When Si/Fe is 5 , the red value of the pigment is highest .Moreover ,with the increasing of inclusion number , the silica integuments of the pigment gradually increase ,so that lightness value of the pig‐ment increase and the red value decrease .
