The common synthesis method of UV-531 were simply introduced in this paper.At the same time the synthesis method of UV-531 (the not solvent method)were discussed indetail nowadays.By using PEG-400 as catalysis,n-octylchloride and 2,4-dihydroxybenzopenone were reacted for 6h at 180℃.Then UV-531 were formed by washing,distillation by high vacuum,slice processing .
