中白61是由B80067与B80032两个自交不亲和系配制而成的秋播早熟大白菜一代杂种，生长期60 d（天）左右，植株半直立，株型紧凑，外叶深绿，叶面稍皱、少毛。株高36.5 cm，开展度56.0 cm，叶球叠抱、短筒形，球叶浅绿，耐热、高产。球高27.3 cm，球径15.4 cm，净球质量2.2 kg，净菜率72％，球形指数1.8。每667 m2净菜产量5 500～6 000 kg。抗病毒病、霜霉病和黑腐病。适宜辽宁、山东、河北、北京等省（市）夏末秋初种植。

The head is of short cylinderical shape.The average net head weight is about 2.2 kg.Its net vegetable rate is 72% and head shape index is 1.8. Its yield is about 82.5-90.0 t ·hm-2.It is resistant to virus disease,downy mildew and black rot.It has high yield potential and is suitable to be cultivated in Hebei,Shandong, Liaoning Provinces and Beijing in late summer and early autumn.
