传统的应试化教材和教学模式制约着高职学生的学习动力,与就业脱节的终结性考核评价方式更限制着就业率的提高。本文分析了就业导向的内涵和基于就业导向的高职英语教学的必要性,提出基于就业导向的高职英语教学策略,以期促进高职英语教学改革。

The traditional examination oriented teaching materials and teaching modes restrict the learning motivation of higher vocational students ,while the long ingrained summative evaluation way limits the student employment rate. This article analyzes the connotative meaning of employment oriented teaching method, and highlights the need for employment oriented vocational English teaching. It also proposes practical vocational English teaching strategies based on employment oriented education theory to promote the reform of vocational English teaching.
