In selecting and setting up advanced student models,colleges and universities should try to increase the student models'affinity so they can enjoy popular support among their fellow students. This paper believes only when the advanced student models reach out to and sympathize with their fel-low students can they be more fascinating and more impressive thus able to exert their influence upon their fellow students in a better way.Affinity on the part of the advanced student models will prompt other students to emulate them with alacrity and promote all-round development of college students both as individuals and as a whole,enabling the student models to fulfill their value function.
