Packing是一定数量的单元体以叠合规则聚集在一起的一种算法。Packing算法与分形迭代结合不仅在空间优化中具有重要作用,在建筑设计中也具有一定的运用潜力。本文分析了箱型Packing、圆形Packing等不同种类的分形Packing算法的特性,并结合设计案例探讨了分形Packing算法在建筑设计中的运用方式。

Packing is an algorithm that a certain number of units aggregate under certain composite rules. The combination of Packing algorithm and fractal iteration not only plays important roles in the optimization of spaces, but also has potential applications for architectural design. The paper describes and analyzes different kinds of fractal packing algorithms, including box-type packing, circular packing and irregular packing. The applications of fractal packing algorithm in architecture are studied through design cases.
