With the public management reform and talent market -driven in depth ,the contra-diction between the demand and supply of public management professional talents highlights .It is imminent for institutions of higher learning to make use of their own resources to construct profession -al talent training mode in harmony with the public management talent demand of employment post and the career aspirations of graduates .This paper analyzes the problems of single public manage-ment professional personnel training mode , illustrates the characteristics and advantages of category training , from the perspective of social demand , discusses the countermeasures to perfect personnel category training mode of the public management professional .
