To promote the role of multimodal English courseware in cultivating the multilitera-cies of adults , this paper aims to design multimodal courseware appropriate for English adult learn -ers, which, with the contents of EECC and in the form of PPT , hopes to conform to the cognitive schema of adult learners and to help them attain the construction of general meanings .
